Pride Month is a time of color, joy, and radical self-love, a celebration of visibility and a protest for progress. But for us at Steve & Andy’s, Pride is more than a single month. It’s who we are, how we started, and what we stand for every day.

We’re proud to be an openly gay-owned cookie brand, not just because representation matters (it does), but because our story wouldn’t exist without queerness, creativity, and the courage to go against the grain. From the start, we’ve been rebels with a sweet cause, making ridiculously good cookies that are organic, gluten-free, and outrageously easy to love. This Pride Month, we’re sharing our story, our snacks, and our unapologetic pride.

Our Sweet Beginning

The Steve & Andy’s story began not in a corporate boardroom but in a shared kitchen, where fashion veterans Steve Marino and Arjan “Andy” Khiani began blending culinary traditions from Italy, Canada, and India. What started as a personal passion quickly turned into a mission.

When Andy went gluten-free, he was shocked by the lackluster options out there. Crumbly, dry, and disappointing? Not on our watch. Steve, the science nerd of the duo, rolled up his sleeves, and together they created a proprietary gluten-free flour blend that didn’t just work, it made everything better.

That blend became the base for what came next: rich, chewy cookies bursting with clean, organic ingredients, made to be devoured and shared. What began as a labor of love became a vibrant, inclusive brand, and yes, a total cookie revolution.
